Yavapai County has the highest share of private-well homes in our footprint. Chino Valley, the outskirts of Prescott, and rural corridors around Sedona and Cottonwood are where we run the well-water treatment train most often. Iron staining in toilets, hydrogen sulfide smell at the shower, and bacteriological detections are the three issues that show up on the well test, and they need to be treated in sequence: oxidation, media filtration, softening, and UV disinfection on the way in to the house.
Yavapai County is where our treatment reality shifts. Municipal supplies in Prescott and the Verde Valley are typically cleaner than the Phoenix metro blend, but the county has a much higher share of private wells, especially in Chino Valley and outside Sedona.
