The water in Yavapai County

Built for the local supply.

Yavapai County homes see reverse osmosis for two different reasons. On Prescott municipal supply, it is a taste-and-hardness fix at the kitchen. On private wells around Chino Valley, Sedona, and the Verde Valley, RO is what handles the dissolved iron, manganese, and trace contaminants that upstream media filtration does not remove at the molecular level. We only spec RO on well water after the pre-treatment train is confirmed to be running clean.

Yavapai County is where our treatment reality shifts. Municipal supplies in Prescott and the Verde Valley are typically cleaner than the Phoenix metro blend, but the county has a much higher share of private wells, especially in Chino Valley and outside Sedona. Iron, sulfur, and bacteriological concerns drive the equipment train here, not chloramine.
