The story
The Patel family called us four days after their daughter's first formula bottle. They had read the EPA PFAS announcement and wanted to know what was in the water they were mixing the formula with.
Their kitchen tap tested at 612 ppm TDS, 17 gpg hardness, and showed PFOA detections at 5.2 parts per trillion. The EPA enforceable limit is 4 ppt.
